COUNTRYSIDE—State Rep. Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs), will host a free Senior Health Fair on Wednesday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Lyons Township High School Corral- South Campus, 4940 S. Willow Springs Road, Western Springs, Illinois.
This event will provide an opportunity for area senior citizens to gather valuable information about services and programs available to older Illinoisans. Health care experts, representatives from various state agencies and other exhibitors will be on hand to answer questions and discuss issues of importance to seniors. In addition to senior citizens residing in the 82nd District, friends, family members or caregivers are welcome to attend.
The event includes blood pressure and other health screenings as well as valuable literature and handouts on state programs and services.
